How can European companies profit from digital innovations and improve their customers’ lives? These questions were addressed in the EIT Digital Academy Summer Schools held in Lisbon. The attendees immersed themselves for two entire weeks in real business cases originating from EIT Digital’s pan-European ecosystem of scaleups, industrial partners, university partners, and research companies.
Participants worked in teams and applied “learning by doing” to develop a mindset and skills for innovation and entrepreneurship.

• Identify and assess the impact of digital technologies
• Understand user value, business life cycles, industry value chains, market segments, IPR issues as well as financial and risk-related issues.
